ABOUT ME

Hello, hello! Welcome to Courtney in London. I'm an American expat living in London and recently celebrated my 1 year anniversary of living abroad. In honor of surviving 365 days of living outside of my own country, I figured it was finally time to document my life in the UK.

It hasn't all been rainbows and butterflies, but moving across the planet has been one of the best decisions I've ever made. My life is full of adventure, fun, and I learn something new every single day. I could not feel more blessed.

A little about me: I work in tech and that's what brought me to London. I love to travel, dance, ski, and be anywhere there is water. My go-to drink is sauvingon blanc and my favorite food is anything Mexican. I am still on the hunt for a SLIGHTLY edible taco this side of the Atlantic (I had one in Dublin where they horrifyingly served it with ketchup!) but after a year I've conceded that it's just not going to happen.

A note before you read on: these stories are 95% real, 5% fiction. It's up to you to figure out which is which. I hope this writing entertains you, makes you giggle, or even gives you a full belly laugh at my expense.
